Here’s a fun fact for you. June is National Homeownership Month.
In 1995, President Clinton’s administration began National Homeownership Week as a strategy to increase homeownership across the nation. In 2002, President Bush expanded it to the whole month of June.
This observance not only supports the dream of homeownership, but it is also a time we recognize the organizations that help individuals and families to achieve their goals.
Some of these organizations include the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Federal Housing Administration, and the realtors, financial and housing counselors, and assistance programs that are out there. They are all an important part of helping someone to achieve their dream of owning a home.
There are so many ways to get the dream home for you. And once you do get your dream home you want to make sure it is insured properly so that you can have peace of mind. You want to be sure that not only your home, but all your valuables are also covered in your insurance policy.
If you already own a home you want to review your policy yearly to make sure there are no additions that need to be added such as a pool or trampoline in the back yard that you want to be sure are covered, or an addition that was put on, or any interior improvements that may need to be added to the policy.
Here at John Scott Insurance Agency, we are happy to review your policy with you to make sure you are covered for everything in the best way possible. Just reach out to us and let’s talk!
