The word “family” is often used to describe the John Scott Insurance Agency in many ways. It is used to describe John Scott’s vision in 1960 when he set out to provide local residents with economical insurance coverage in downtown Dowagiac, Michigan. “Family” is used to describe the personal touch that his son Richard Scott embraced from 1976 to 2001. And… yes, the word “family” continues to be used to communicate that the agency is currently lead by third generation owners Todd & Amy (Scott) Marazita. However, to us the word “family” means more than just a family owned company. It reflects the values in which we embrace our clients and their service experience. It reflects our passion to give back to our community, especially to those less fortunate. And, it means working together in a way that honors a Christian spirit. Putting the needs of our clients above all else has remained our number one priority as we continue to expand our carrier representation to conduct business in Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.
