Roadside Emergency Kit

Whether you are taking a casual drive or embarking on a long road trip, you never know when an emergency will arise. As such, it’s important to have a roadside emergency kit packed in your vehicle.

Consider including the following 16 items in your kit:

  1. First Aid kit
  2. Crucial Medications
  3. Water and Nonperishable food items
  4. Cell phone and charger
  5. Jumper cables
  6. Road flares and distress signs
  7. Spare tire
  8. Vehicle liquids
  9. Flashlight
  10. Windshield scraper and shovel
  11. Blanket
  12. Set of warm clothes
  13. Vital medical info
  14. Emergency contact numbers especially for towing
  15. Proof of Insurance and drivers license
  16. Owner’s manual for vehicle

Being prepared will mean a lot if you are stuck.  Not having what you need in an emergency can be a bad scenario.  Being prepared means carrying around a bit more with you but could very well save you in the long run.
